Absolute BEST! Mark is professional, caring, and VERY thorough! My fiancée was looking for a used car, and found one through the app CarGurus. We called Mark, and said we were 45 mins. Away, so we didn’t think we can be there before he closes. He said no problem, I’ll be here even if it’s after I close, just come. We got there at 5:15pm, and he came right out and showed us the car. Opened the hood, started it, was super informative about what to look for, sounds to listen for, even any kind of corrosion. My fiancée and Mark took the car for a test drive. He wanted her to go up hills, and down, and really put the car under “stress” to listen to the transmission and engine. Once they got back, I said,” Looks like a great car! Let’s do the paperwork!” Mark said,” Wait, I want to put it on a lift!” He then puts the car on the lift and says “welcome to my world” Again, great detail and information on what to look for on a car with high mileage. Going over EVERYTHING! I’m not exaggerating here. He took his time to look over every piece of that car looking for leaks or signs of excessive wear! He then puts the car down, we went into his office, he then asked about financing. My fiancée told Mark, what her options were. He then said he knows people that could get a better rate than what her bank could do. He contacted us the next day about financing options. About 3-4 days later (because of the weekend and when my fiancée could get the financing done) we called Mark, went to the office and finished up. I’m trying not to get this post to be too Long, but I have so many good/positive things to say. Mark is honest, professional, and goes above and beyond. I can only wish I lived closer so I can bring all my cars for him to service. Highly recommended, A+ Service! Thanks again Mark!

I was in desperate need for a car looking for probably a month or 2 but a lot of dealerships were charging crazy amount per month (finance) in locations around the area within a 20 miles radius. I was on CarGurus one time and seen a car that I liked, called the place up and I said I wanted put a “down deposit like right now” to the guy on the phone who was Marc (the owner) very respectful and cool guy. Told him I wanted that specific car before someone takes it and just told me to fill out the application and called me back within an hour and told me the next steps and that same day… I went to go put half of the deposit down. He took his time looked around for an affordable deal for me and within a couple hours. Told me step by step on what to do, told me about how interest rates work and also talked about credit cards/banks work on the test drive because he knew I was young and buying my first car. I told him my financial situation because I’m not going to lie I’m in a bit of credit card debt and we talked a little about life and financial tips. But regardless humble guy and got business done asap. Whenever you go ask for Marc. Trust me, keep it real with him and he’ll keep it real with you. This is just my opinion. 5 stars.

Found exactly the car we wanted, went down on a Saturday and made an agreement to purchase the vehicle. Unfortunately it was too late to get a loan at that time of Day on a Saturday but by Monday we had everything in place. Mark was able to register the car before we even got there with all the money. Great job! Great car. Great service.

I would recommend this auto shop to everybody I know, I had to get some work done on my 2010 Honda CR-V for power steering and I also needed an oil change. Piotr and his men had my car in and out in 24 hours and I couldn’t be happier. If you ever need your car service go see him and I promise you, you won’t regret it!!!!

Mark was very helpful when I was looking for a car. He was direct, honest, and respectful. After going to several dealerships in search of a used car to purchase, Mark and the other employees were by far the best people to converse with. I would recommend going here both to purchase a used car and to have your car repairs done. The car I purchased was in great condition, had new tires, and everything has been working great thus far.

This place could not be more friendly and helpful. Was in need of a vehicle after my Grand Cherokee 5.7 blew it's motor and stumbled upon a nice truck while driving by. Popped my head in and got a test drive immediately. It was love at first sight. Very clean in and out, runs immaculate and they even accommodated a few items I wanted changed after the sale was complete. Also, they absolutely smashed the rates for financing that I had previously shopped. Would not hesitate to do business with them again!

Me and my brothers went to Bristol Auto Center and Mark was able to provide me with lots of information about the truck. We took it for a test drive and Mark was able to show me a few features and how well it drives when accelerating up to 80mph. Mark was also able to show us how to build our credit and obtain a better credit scores. Mark bought a body frame for the truck but did not installed it, but he made a great deal with us so that the body frame can be installed. Overall Mark is a really great and straight forward guy when it comes to finance and Vehicles. definitely recommend others to buy from Bristol Auto center.

I am satisfied with Mike's absolutely to solve problems and cause the Customer to feel no pressure. We say a vehicle and Mike took us an a test drive, and He brauhome the sale. There was a bent rim on the Vehicle and He replaced it at no additional. My Acura MDX, had some issues, and Mike took a few days to figure out the problem, and isin the process of fixing them. I have some friends that I am in the process of recovering. Mark and the crew at "Bristol Auto Care" You guys are the best.

I called Bristol Auto to ask them to diagnose a check engine code on my 2007 Honda Odyssey. They scheduled me in the very next day and had a convenient night drop so I was able to leave my car that evening. Peter contacted me promptly offering two solutions one more expensive but comprehensive, the other just enough to keep my car functioning. I appreciated that Peter took the time to explain what repair was needed and didn’t push the most expensive selection!!

The owner and his partner are very friendly and helpful. We purchased a vehicle for our daughter (her 1st car) and as a family man the owner made us feel very comfortable in our purchase and helped us to become more familiar and knowledgeable with the vehicle we purchased for her. He patiently helped us through the entire process successfully. The vehicle was in clean condition (inside and out) and the overall experience was very pleasant. I have never written a review before but after the experience my mother and I just had I must. We were both nervous and confused. Mark the owner went out of his way to explain VIN numbers and financing and transferring of plates etc. things we were clueless on. He made us feel safe and confident in our decision. I bought a car here back in February. They had a car in stock that I had been looking for, and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. I contacted Mark and a day later I went down to view the vehicle and test drive. There were little things that had to be repaired before I took it home, and Mark even put it up on the lift for me to look over. Everything was fixed the next day. He made the overall buying process easy and smooth, and I drove the car home within 2 days of finding it! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Mark makes the car buying experience seamless, easy, and best of all friendly. I had been looking for a Toyota Tundra for a few weeks and found Marks ad on Carfax. Mark greets you with a smile and makes nothing about the shopping experience "pushy". He's extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. He had everything done in a timely manner the next day for me to pick up the Tundra. He even assisted me in getting my previous car to my house. I cant say enough about Mark and I highly recommend if you are in the market for a quality used truck.

I'm so happy to have come across this gem! I had been frantically looking for a car for my son as a surprise for his birthday this Saturday. As many of you know, it hasn't been easy to find a good car for the right price lately. So thankful to Bristol Auto for taking the time and fixing my BMW. My car had several problems that we could not figure out. Bristol Auto took the time to figure out the problems and my car is running great. Not many mechanics in the area that can work on BMWs. So glad we found them. If you have a BMW I highly recommend Bristol Auto. They are very knowledge, honest and more than fair.

I purchased a jeep compass from the owner Mark, on 7/31/20. I have to say I was very impressed. I was browsing online and saw a jeep that I liked. I called at the last minute to enquire about it. I spoke to Mark and he was very courteous and kind over the phone. It was late in the evening and I live an hour away from Bristol auto center. Mark told me that I can still come to the center, he would wait for me even though the shop was closing. I've never been to Bristol before, but we drove to Bristol to check the car out. I was so happy I went. The car was priced fairly, it was clean and well kept. The oil change was done, good tires , all the cars on the lot was well kept. The entire place was clean. I can tell Mark takes pride in his work by his approach and how the cars were kept with safety being his number one priority. He is very knowledgeable, polite and very patient. I bought the car that same evening. I felt good about my purchased knowing that it is safe and dependable. The atmosphere was so different from other dealers, he was not pushy or trying to rip me off. The entire process was very smooth. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARK. I will be taking my other car there when I need service. It's very rare when you meet someone that takes such pride in their work, very honest and goes above and beyond . Thank you Mark. We've used this garage since just after they took over from Bristol radiator. They've always been fairly priced, honest and helpful. Really gook folk. Once they started selling cars we've purchased from them twice, both cars have been fantastic, and I would easily buy from them again, when we need another car. We just bought our third car from Mark. We will never go anywhere else. Both of our kids' cars and my own are from Bristol Auto. They are honest, reliable and dependable. All of our service is done there as well. When repairs are done they explain everything. They don't just tell you what needs to be done, they show you why. My mother has been going to Bristol Auto for many years. When she was in her late 70's, she would drive past other repair shops to get to Mark and walk home to wait for it to be ready. Now in her 80's I give her a ride but she still goes to Mark. Thanks for the years of service. We'll be calling soon for an oil change.

I'm sure you know trying to anything during the recent health crisis has not been easy let along having to replace a car, we went to see Mark a few weeks earlier and saw a truck we were interested in but at the time the cost was to steep. As we looked around further we kept coming back to this truck as Mark and Bristol Auto Center really let us inspect and fully look at the truck even taking the initiative to place it on the lift for us to fully inspect the undercarriage which no other dealer did. When it came time to negotiate after a few weeks where he was closed do to all going on he was fair but was looking for the best price he can get as I was looking for the best deal, something I truly respected as I don't like being run around. The delivery was quick to as with practicing social distancing we did most of the closing over the phone and just signed the papers and went on our way with the new truck. I would recommend Mark and Bristol Auto Center to anyone looking for a quality used car and with that would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Coming to Bristol Auto Center was my second stop after viewing a 2015 Honda Pilot down the road at another dealership (That Honda Pilot’s carpets smelled terrible) I decided to leave that place (Jazzi....) My second choice was my better choice. I received more than fair pricing and Mark was very knowledgeable about the vehicles in the lot. I never once stopped at a dealership and have the seller show me a dipstick with clear Transmission fluid. Very impressed by the way the vehicles maintenance was taken care of. They will always go out of there way to help you any way that they can!! I have never had any issues with anything they have fixed for me. Out of every car I have ever owned, new or used, Mark has completely spoiled me. I have never been treated any better anywhere else. Mark truly goes beyond the expected experience. No sales pitch and completley upfront and honest. I was blown away when he brought the vehicle I was interested in, into the garage and put it up on the lift. He walked me through the entire car, even pointing out the things that were wrong. I ended up not buying that vehicle as my credit was still being worked on at the time. I eventually found my way back a few months later and bought the perfect car. I highly recommend anyone looking to buy a good vehicle to head on over to Mark at Bristol Auto Center. You will not find anyone as honest and as easy to work with anywhere else.

I’m a travel nurse and I just drove 1,000 miles to CT and noticed my car needed work on the alignment and was making weird noises when I got here. I looked up the highest rated repair shops near me and thank god I found this one!! I’ve always gone to chain repair shops and never have I received the quality of service I got at Bristol Auto Center!! They were very kind and explained everything and didn’t try to invent problems that weren’t there. The pricing was very fair and my car now runs great!! I wish there were more places out there like this. I will definitely be going back there to have my tire maintenance done before I leave!!

I purchased a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe with low mileage from Mark. He was very informative and truthful when explaining the work he had done to the car. It runs amazingly and I'm very happy with this purchase. After driving for a while, i noticed the brakes were squeaking. Mark told me to come in and he replaced the brake pads free of charge. If you are looking to buy a used car I would strongly recommend checking out Bristol Auto Centers!

I can not say enough about Bristol Auto Center! I just recently bought the car of my dreams here. The wonderful owner took his time to explain the entire process to me. Great place to service your car. My jeep had leaky exhaust manifolds, these guys got the job done quick and without issues. Most shops in the area wanted outrageous labor charges, a couple shops even turned me away as the job is far from easy in these jeeps. Peter and his crew were honest and confident through the entire repair. Thanks to them my jeep is running great! I will for sure be using them in the future.

I was able to bring the car from bristol to Torrington and leave it with my mechanic to look at before I even considered buying it! I purchased a '11 Volvo XC60 R-Design from Bristol Auto Center on 01/19/2019. I was in search of the 'right' XC60 and found it here. I drove in from Vermont and had been in contact with Mark throughout the week; he worked with me over the phone and email to discuss a deal and when I saw and drove the car in person, the transaction went smoothly. From the beginning, Mark made sure that the car was in ready-to-sale condition. No gimmicks, just straight to the point! Before visiting Bristol Auto Center, other vehicles at various used car dealerships needed some obvious work done to them (new tires, rotors, etc.). I did not experience this problem at Bristol - the Volvo was in tip-top shape.Thanks Mark!

Around Christmas time I bought an Audi Q5 from Bristol Auto. The service was impeccable and Mark was awesome! I came all the way from upstate New York to look at this vehicle and it was so worth the drive!! I would highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a great experience with purchasing a used vehicle! You don't hear that too often and I would buy another vehicle from them anytime!! This is a stellar facility. Definitely a sweet find when I stumbled upon these guys. The techs are knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. I saw some excellent cars in the inventory when I had taken my car in for service. Just for boredom sake, I asked some pricing and was absolutely shocked. These cars are priced to move. With talented techs, and such a reasonably priced inventory, I know I'll be coming here for a long time. I see an SUV in my future. Thanks again fellas!

I recently purchased a car from Bristol Auto after being referred. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. They were extremely patient with me, regardless of how indecisive I was. Mark was able to work with my schedule & stayed late to show me a couple cars that I was interested in, while Alex worked with the numbers to get me where I wanted to be. He was also very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. They're honest & reliable & both have a great sense of humor, which made a potentially stressful process, enjoyable. I purchased a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta from Bristol Auto Center recently and can say that the experience I had with this dealer was above what I expected from a used car dealer. I've dealt with a few used car dealerships over the past few years when looking for a car, whether it's for family or friend, and a majority of them were crooked or sketchy. That is not the case with Bristol Auto Center. This dealership is completely honest and helpful throughout the entire process. From the initial inquiry, to the test drive, and the final sale, Alex and Mark were very helpful in helping me make this big investment, walking me through everything, and even giving me a look at under the car so I can get an idea of what I was purchasing. Toyota Highlander
I must say in all my years I have never purchased a used vehicle and have not run into problems. This purchase was the first ever. I purchased a 2006 Totota Highlander almost 2 years ago and have not have one issue. My truck runs like new yea I have serviced the brakes and added new tires however that is basic maintenance. I am looking for another vehicle for leisure and well I wouldn't purchase from anywhere but here. The staff was also wonderful.

Best experience a first time buyer could ask for
I first have to commend Mark on the simplicity of purchasing a car from him. I was nervous to make my first vehicle purchase but upon arrival, Mark stated that he would not be hanging over me while I check out the car and to let him know if I had any question and where to find him. I really appreciated his approach. In addition, the selection and condition of the vehicles he has to offer are fantastic. Mark knew that I was traveling over 3 hours to come check out one of his vehicles and gave me any and all information I asked for over the phone prior to my trip. I cannot express enough how relaxed and pressure free this buying experience has been for me. He had no issue whatsoever staying later than his Saturday hours to accommodate me, nor do I believe he looked at the clock once. Overall I felt very valued as a customer, he gave me solid piece of mind and absolute confidence with my purchase. I returned home with my new (to me) Mercedes ML about an hour ago without a single hickup to be mentioned. It is now parked in my garage and I couldn't be more satisfied. Huge thanks to mark and everyone at Bristol Auto, I would gladly (and most likely will) return to his lot for my next lightly used car! ++++

I have gone to Bristol Auto Center to have my car serviced on several occasions now. The outcome is always the same. The quality of service is great, as well as their customer service. They care about their customers, and take the time to explain what is wrong with the vehicle. I’m not great with cars, and never once felt like I was being misled to pay more like I have with other places. Much like a barber or any other profession, once you find someone that does quality work, it’s relieving to know that you are in good hands. If you are in need of someone honest, give them a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

Their patience with us while we tried to get outside paperwork done was great. Mark even called during the interim to tell us that he found a sensor located in the radiator that needed to be replaced so he put in a new one before we picked up the car. We had planned to look at a car at another dealership last Saturday, but happened to come across Bristol Auto Center on the way - we are SO glad we did! The Father/Son team are friendly, professional and extremely honest in their approach to selling vehicles. My partner and I knew which car we were interested in and after having test drove the car and talked about its history, we were delighted. Since we had already been pre-approved for a loan, we completed all of the paperwork the same day and picked up the car two days later. When we test drove the car, there was a loud noise coming from the heater when on a high setting. Although not a large problem, we were promised it would be fixed by the time we took the car home, and that it was. Everything about our experience here was wonderful and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new car.

This place is great. One of my better buying experiences for sure. I went in, looked at few cars, but ultimately ended up purchasing the first car I looked at. Prices are competative and the quality is top notch. I'm very pleased with my purchase and will be a regular for maintenance at their garage. Definitely a recommended place for locals or travelers. I recently purchased a vehicle from Bristol Auto Center and the transaction was easy and painless. Alex was pleasant and not pushy at all. After bringing the car home I notice a strong gas smell and brought it back a few days later. Even though this was an “as is” purchase they took care of the issue promptly and without taking advantage of the fact they didn’t have to do anything. All in all I would recommend both the sales and the service sections of this business.

I have poor credit due to medical bills and Alex did whatever it took to get me in my car at payments I wanted! He busted his butt to help me get in the car as quickly as possible and helped me hurdle over any road blocks that we happened upon. I know I was a pain in the butt because I was stressing out over how I was going to get to work and he put my mind at ease without making me feel bad for being a pain. His father did all sorts of work on the car I bought and made sure I wouldn't have any issues any time soon. The car runs wonderful, like a dream! Definitely recommend them! 5 stars!!!

Great service. I had a problem starting my car so I went to meineke so see what was wrong and they told me I needed a new alternator for $1000!! I came here to double check and it was my battery that needed to be changed not my alternator. Saved myself hundreds of dollars and I’m so glad I came here!! Highly recommend!!

Great Experience. I purchased my highlander from Bristol Auto Center. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Mark was great and was not a pushy sales person as some sales people can be. Above all he was honest. He was so sweet, kind, and explained everything as we spoke. I felt calm and able to purchase my car without feeling I was taken advantage off. So I decided to search for a mid-sized or compact SUV and went to several local dealerships, in addition to a few craigslist ads. Nothing within a fair price range was present at the dealerships and the craigslist cars posted always had something to fix. I got lucky and found a Honda CR-V that looked well maintained. Met with Mark and Alex and had no problems throughout the entire process. The vehicle was raised on a lift and checked out the underbody for issues just for peace of mind. Reviewed the Carfax and received new tires at the end. By far the most honest guys I’ve dealt with looking for cars!

I've heard great things about Bristol auto center as a repair shop. The word of mouth recommendations around town are, "they are an honest repair shop and do great work." I was in need of an inexpensive, reliable second vehicle as a commuter for my job. I walked into the shop, explained what I was looking for and they worked with me to stay under my budget and still give me a quality vehicle. Alex was very helpful, and held the car without a deposit while I got things together on my end. I'm really impressed with the condition of the vehicle for the price and service provided. If you are looking for a dealer that you can trust, and has top quality cars and service. This is the place for you. I am in Michigan and had been looking for a excellent condition Suburban to replace the one I currently drive.After speaking on the phone with Mark several times, he is very honest and knowledgeable .I was confident that this was the Suburban I was looking for.They even picked me up at the airport allowing me a very long test drive.The vehicle was everything they had presented it to be.I put 1500 mi on the car driving it back to Michigan in less than a week. I brought my 2002 Mercedes S430 for service, did not know what the problem was except a Msg. on my dash board Aromatic needs service, they checked my car and found an electric wire broken they replaced it for free after the Mercedes dealer said that I need front Air shocks and the cost is $2800, Thank you Peter and Mark for being honest .

I came from spingfield mass to bristol conn and purchased a 2007 gmc siera 1500 from bristol auto sales. i did a lot of shopping around and found some very good deals out there but nothing sparked my interest. one of my shopping visits was to bristol auto saless. there was a 2007 gmc 1500 siera crew cab which i came to check out. the vehicle looked very nice, very clean, reasonable mileage and a fair price. there i met with alex, chatted a bit and i went off. i did some more shopping around and found myself going back to bristol auto center to make my purchase of the 2007 gmc siera truck. i found alex to be a very down to earth person who is honest and very informative. he answered all my questions to my satisfaction. i am very pleased with my purchase and realized in the end that i should have started at bristol auto sales to do my shopping and i would not have needed to go anywhere else. i would have saved a lot of time and traveling. bristol auto center also provides maintenance and repair services and from what i saw and witnessed, they are a very reliable shop with customer service and satisfaction as their main objective. i am very satisfied with my purchase and very satisfied i made my choice to deal with bristo auto center

Just bought a Mercury Mariner from Bristol Autobody. Alex and Mark were great! They took the vehicle to my mechanic and were very accommodating . The car was in great condition for a great price! Mark and Peter (plus professional staff) have serviced all of our cars for the past 10 years. They have been honest, prompt and professional when dealing with any need. They take their time inspecting our cars, even if it is for a routine oil change. If a more complicated situation arises I have always trusted their advice and have been satisfied with their service.

The Best Shop around
Bristol Auto Center is as good as it gets. I spent quite some time searching for an SUV for my daughter, first time driver. Owners Mark and Peter were great, you can see they are truly committed to excellence. The sales process was very painless. Alex, the sales manager, was very easy going and helpful explaining how the process works. He even drove 45 min to hand deliver our deal to the bank so we could have the car ASAP. The hardest part was choosing the vehicle, all the stock is A+. Fortunately we are local and will be returning for regular maintenance, I don't think there are better mechanics around!! Highly Recommend, so happy!

Yep! 5/5 Marc and Peter are Spectacular. These guys have been working on my cars for the past five years. Every repair was explained in detail and I left every time knowing a little bit more about the vehicle. I have to be honest though I made the mistake of bringing my jeep to a dealership for a second opinion. After Marks original diagnosis.. Well to make a long story short a couple thousand dollars later and my tail tucked between my legs I came back to Bristol Auto Center. Marks original diagnosis was spot on. Lesson learned. Mark and Peter welcomed me back of course without even an "I told you so". Professionalism at its best keep up the great work guys!!! Highly recommended

I've been going to Bristol Auto center for several years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. Historically I can't say I have has good experiences with mechanics. I felt lied to and taken advantage of. Bristol Auto has never made me feel taken advantage of and in fact one of the reasons I continue to go there is because they are so honest and go out of their way to get me the best deal possible. I have also purchased two vehicles from them and have had good luck and love them both and if I have any problems, I can just call them and if they can't help me out on the phone with advice they fit me to for a test drive. I've recently moved and drive 45 minutes for regular service checks because I trust them. I highly recommend Bristol Auto Center...you won't be disappointed.

I've been looking for a car for a while and ended up choosing an Audi from the Bristol Auto Center. Shopping for a car as a single girl is intimidating and I found these guys to be straight forward, reasonably priced and not sketchy. They were thorough with explaining the cars history (Book value, car fax, accident history-or lack there of), showed me the body, explained the motor and all the fancy dials, put it on a lift for me to see the underside and did an oil change and alignment prior to me taking it off the lot. Great dealership to work with. Highly recommended.

Mark went out of his way many times to get this sale completed, even after unforeseen issues at DMV. I would highly recommend him as an honest person to buy a vehicle from.

I recently purchased a Murano from Mark who was very honest and accommodating. The buying process went smooth and I was able to leave with the car within a couple hours. Within a few days the check engine light came on so I stopped by the shop. I was assured by Mark that he would take care of whatever the issue was, and he was able to get the car in to be worked on at my earliest convenience. Mark and his crew worked as quickly and diligently as they could and ended up having to replace the head gasket, obviously a large expense. Everything was done at absolutely no cost to me. I appreciate them standing behind their business and cars and will continue to do business with them in the future. Thank you!

Bought an 07 Maxima a few months ago, haven't had any complaints. Mark was very personable and knows what he is talking about. He will not sell you a lemon. He made sure the car was in top shape before I drove it off the lot. Piotr in the garage is also a great guy and hard worker. No problems at all when I brought the car to the garage for an oil change last week. Overall entire staff seems like hard-workers and I would recommend Bristol Auto Center for anybody looking for a good used car.
